What we can build for you.

From marketing sites and email automation to warehouses, pipelines and AI features -one team for the whole stack.

Web Development

Fast, secure websites built to convert.

  • Custom websites & web apps
  • Online stores
  • Redesigns & rebuilds
  • Speed, SEO & ongoing care

What we build

  • Custom marketing websites - bespoke design, built for speed, SEO and conversion.
  • Web Applications - booking systems, ticketing systems, portals, dashboards or internal tools.
  • Online stores - WooCommerce, Shopify or custom carts with secure checkout.
  • Redesigns & rebuilds - Modernise a tired site without losing SEO or content.
  • Email marketing & campaign automation - Brevo, Sendgrid, Klaviyo, XtremePush: templated designs, segmentation, drip campaigns and reporting.
  • Third-party integrations - CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Brevo), payment providers (Stripe), booking, analytics.

How we work

We use whatever stack fits: PHP for classic sites, Laravel or Node for web apps, WordPress when a CMS makes sense. Everything is built responsive, accessible, and hardened against the common web vulnerabilities.

Databases

Well-designed databases that stay fast as you grow.

  • Database design & modelling
  • Migrations & upgrades
  • Performance tuning
  • Backups, recovery & reporting

Platforms

  • SQL Server - Schema design, indexing, stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS, Always On High Availability.
  • MySQL / MariaDB - Schema design, replication, backup strategy, query tuning.
  • PostgreSQL - Schema design, partitioning, PL/pgSQL, logical replication, extensions.

What we do

  • Architecture & modelling - Normalised OLTP schemas, star/snowflake for reporting.
  • Performance tuning - Index reviews, query plan analysis, slow query hunts.
  • Migrations & upgrades - Cross-engine moves (e.g. SQL Server → PostgreSQL), zero-downtime cutovers.
  • Backups, DR & monitoring - Point-in-time recovery, automated backups, uptime alerting.
  • Reporting & views - Clean reporting layers so the business can self-serve.

Data Engineering

Data flowing to where it is actually useful.

  • ETL & Data Pipelines
  • Data Warehousing (BigQuery, SQL Server, Postgres)
  • Integrations & APIs
  • Dashboards & Automation

Data Warehousing

  • Warehouse Design - Dimensional modeling (Kimball), medallion (bronze/silver/gold), or lakehouse patterns.
  • Platforms - Google BigQuery, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake.
  • Modelling & documentation — proper facts, dimensions, SCDs, and clear lineage.

ETL / ELT Pipelines

  • Batch pipelines - Python + Airflow, SSIS, dbt.
  • Streaming - Pub/Sub, Kafka where near-real-time matters.
  • Ingestion from anywhere - REST APIs, files, databases, SaaS tools.
  • Change data capture - replicate transactional data into the warehouse without heavy queries on production.

Systems and APIs talking to each other

  • Custom Integrations - Get your CRM, warehouse, finance and marketing tools sharing data cleanly.
  • API design & build - REST or GraphQL, versioned, documented, authenticated.
  • iPaaS work - Zapier, Make, n8n, or writing custom middleware when the off-the-shelf option won't stretch.

Dashboards & automation

  • BI dashboards - Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase.
  • Alerting & automation - Turn insights into actions your team can trust.

AI Integration

Put AI to work in your business - safely.

  • Chatbots & Assistants
  • Document & Data Automation
  • AI-powered Search
  • Model Integration & APIs
  • Website Security
  • Risk Scoring (fraud)

What we build

  • Chatbots & assistants - For your website, your customer support, or your internal team; grounded on your own content.
  • Document automation - Extraction, classification, summarisation of invoices, contracts, forms.
  • AI-powered search - Semantic search across your documents, product catalogue or knowledge base (RAG).
  • Copilot-style features - Draft-generation, next-best-action suggestions, smart form-filling.
  • Model integration & APIs - OpenAI, Anthropic, or self-hosted models, wired into your existing stack.

Safety and cost

We design AI features with clear guardrails, human-in-the-loop where it matters, PII handling, and cost budgets - so an experiment doesn't become a monthly surprise.

IT Consultancy

Advisory work when what you need doesn't fit a project shape.

  • Discovery, triage, and technical due diligence
  • Independent second opinions on vendor proposals
  • Roadmaps and sequencing for infrastructure change
  • Migration and disaster-recovery planning
  • Documentation of inherited or undocumented systems

Not every problem fits neatly under "build me a website" or "design me a database". Sometimes what a business actually needs is someone senior to walk in, look at what's there, understand what's broken or at risk, and either fix it or write down what should happen next.

That's what IT consultancy covers here — the strategic and advisory work that doesn't fit under our other services, but where you need the same technical depth we bring to the ones that do.

When people bring us in

  • Something's gone wrong and nobody's sure how bad it is — a server won't boot, a database is behaving strangely, a critical piece of software has stopped talking to something else, and you need someone to triage before deciding what to do.
  • The current setup won't scale — what worked at 5 users, 10 clients or 100GB of data is creaking, and you need an outside view on what needs to change and in what order.
  • A vendor is telling you something and you're not sure if it's true — proposals, quotes, technical claims. A second opinion from someone who isn't selling you anything.
  • You inherited a mess — took over a business, took over an IT role, absorbed another company. Need someone to map what exists and what's actually in use.
  • You need a plan, not a project — a roadmap for the next 6–12 months of technology decisions, sequenced by risk and cost.

How it usually works

  • A short paid discovery to understand what you have, what you need, and what's actually urgent versus what's noise
  • A written recommendation — plain language, no jargon dump, with options and trade-offs rather than a single "you must do this"
  • Implementation, if you want us — sometimes that's Blue Splash doing the work, sometimes it's your team executing our plan, sometimes it's introducing you to a specialist we trust

We don't do managed services or monthly retainers. If ongoing hands-on IT support is what you need, we'll say so and point you at someone who does that well.
